Kaidomi

Anime, manga, artists and events. One connected world for fans.

My part

I founded Kaidomi and lead the product with the team through Anyjoi GmbH.

Inside the work

From a title to the rest of fan life.

Watching, reading and collecting meet at the same title. From there, each part of fan life gets its own space.

Product model

Four ways into the same world.

Discover, a fan profile, release dates and a title’s shop. These earlier app views show how the same story can turn up in different parts of a fan’s day.

A different face for every part of fandom.

Titles, events, products, stories, artists, and brands each have a public face that still feels unmistakably like Kaidomi.

Design direction

App, Shop, and Stories need their own worlds.

Discover should not feel like Shop, and Shop should not feel like Stories. Each destination gets its own composition without losing the larger Kaidomi world.

Operating standard

A visual idea has to survive the unglamorous journey.

In this August journey, a guest could keep a bag, change quantities and enter a delivery address. The test stopped before payment.
